This is the female version of the “masked bandit” that is so prevalent at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in SW Washington state. I took this photo on May 4, 2011 with a Canon 7D, 1/1000, f5.6, ISO400, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
