Back on Oct. 24 I posted a shot of two Sandhill Cranes approaching for landing, which I titled, ‘Dad and Mom Approach.’  There were a couple of other birds (not shown in that photo) in the group of cranes that was landing.  This youngster was one of those.  Sandhill Cranes are known to live in family groups.  Taken Oct. 23, 2015, at the Ridgefield NWR.
