Mallard with water-covered head

I spotted this Mallard doing some rinsing off as it repeatedly dipped its head under water and allowed the water to run off its head in a smooth motion.  This shot was taken just as the head was lifted up out of the water.  Note the smooth sheeting coat the water has left on the duck’s feathers.  Taken with a Canon 7D, 1/2000, f5.6, ISO500, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
