This American Kestrel was photographed at the Ridgefield NWR on Aug. 23, 2013.   700mm, 1/800, f5.6, ISO 2000, with 1.4x.

Update 7Oct2015:  This image was “published” in an online article at houzz.com.  The article is titled, “Backyard Birds: Create a Home for American Kestrels,” and it’s in the Gardening/Birds and Butterflies section of the website.
