Precarious Perch

I watched this immature Bald Eagle for close to an hour at the Ridgefield NWR, hoping I might get a take off shot, some flight shots, or maybe even some interaction with another bird.  But the only action was during a couple of episodes when the bird seemed to have trouble balancing on the perch and needed to engage its wings to help steady itself.  December 11, 2017.
