Late-summer Common Yellowthroat

It’s probably just me but I tend to see many more male Common Yellowthroats in the spring and more females in late summer at the Ridgefield NWR.  Their unique call seems to have died down over the last month or two. But if you look close in some of the dense sticker bushes and shrubs, you can catch a glimpse of these warblers as they hop around busily.  This picture is of the female, taken Sep. 2, 2014.
