Small Bird, Big Forest

This is a shot I took back on January 7, 2016, at the Ridgefield NWR, in the Ash tree forest.  I’m not great at wren identification but I’m thinking this one is a Bewick’s Wren, with it’s pure white eyebrow.  The bird was climbing around this portion of the tree when it stuck its head out of the tree cavity.

Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1250, f4, ISO 2000, 500mm, 11:52 a.m.
