“Stretch!”

“Stretch!”

A female House Finch reaches up for a berry morsel at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in December 2009.  The bird was in a shady area and it likely would not have turned out had I not used fill flash.  Taken with a Canon 40D, 1/250, f7.1, 400mm, ISO400, Canon 100-400L lens.
