A Great Blue Heron was taking it easy but just a little too close to the Red-winged Blackbirds’ nest.  The birds dive-bombed the heron many times for quite a while and the heron wouldn’t move.  All the heron had to do was fly a little ways away and the blackbirds would have likely stopped bothering him/her.  Ridgefield NWR June 14, 2017.
