As I was sitting in my vehicle during the last hour of the day, positioned with the setting sun shining on the back of the camera, a lone Sandhill Crane glides in to join other cranes already on the ground at the Ridgefield NWR on Jan. 30, 2015. These birds’ graceful flying is a sight to behold.
