Here’s a Bald Eagle just about to reach its maturity stage–probably a fifth year bird. This eagle had just forced an immature bird off of this perch at the top of a tree, which is a little over 300 feet from me. Taken Feb. 7, 2016, at the Ridgefield NWR.
