A relatively rare sighting for me at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, this enormous bird was one of about 35 that had landed at the refuge on July 11, 2011. Taken with my Canon 7D, 1/2500, f5.6, ISO640, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
