Bufflehead

A male Bufflehead floats on the water making frequent dives for food.  The Bufflehead is North America’s smallest diving duck.  Taken with a Canon 7D, f5.6, 1/800, ISO250, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.  Location: Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge in Washington state.
