It’s that time of year again

April 13, 2016, and I decided to stop near a small lake at the Ridgefield NWR, to shoot a colorful male Cinnamon Teal.  Within seconds he paddled over to his wife and they started doing the wild thing.  I’ve concluded that duck and geese guys don’t treat their ladies very nicely during these encounters.  But the little ducklings will be so cute in the not too distant future.
