The Common Yellowthroat is a small, quick, bird that does not usually stay still for long. This is the male with its striking colors and distinctive black mask. This shot was taken May 4, 2011, at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, with a Canon 7D, 1/1000, f5.6, ISO400, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
