In the Ash tree Forest, at the Ridgefield NWR, Aug. 25, 2014.  The circle of life, the infinite nature of energy (CollinsDictionary.com), displayed by Mother Nature.  A Red-tailed Hawk uses its powerful talons and skill to hunt the mouse, and then enjoys its bounty, increasing the chances that the bird will live another day.   Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1250, f4, ISO 2500, 500mm, 10:40 a.m.
