Sometimes getting a meal means getting wet

This is a shot taken back in Feb. 2008 with my first DSLR and bird lens, the Sigma Bigma.  Unfortunately, I did not observe the eagle catching its lunch but I came across the bird while it was eating in the marsh grasses–most likely a duck or coot.  The eagle let me shoot from about 25 feet.  I can remember taking this shot almost like it was yesterday.

Canon Rebel XT, 1/125, f7.1, ISO 400, 500mm, Sigma 50-500mm lens.
