I came across a group of five raccoons busily foraging for food in the shallow water’s edge of a slough on the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge – Oct. 18, 2010. This is one of the raccoons scraping something off the bottom of the slough. Taken with the Canon 7D, 1/500, f5.6, 400mm, ISO400, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
