While shooting in the rain today, June 26, 2014, I watched this Great Blue Heron, in just a few minutes, down about 20 of what I guess are minnows. He was picking them out of the water as fast as he could swallow them. Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1000, f4, ISO 2000, 500mm. Taken at Ridgefield NWR, Washington State.

Amazing capture!!! Well, for you and the Heron, not so much for the fish. Beautiful detail and a fun photo! Thanks Dennis!
