This cooperative Red-tailed Hawk entertained a lot of folks today (Feb. 7, 2018) at the Ridgefield NWR. The bird took turns perching on no less than 3 different posts right along the road, giving folks a close, low-level perspective with their cameras. This hawk has particularly beautiful head colors of white mixed in with the brown.
