Here’s my first posted shot taken with my new Canon 5D Mark III body. I took it out for the first time Friday, Nov. 2. The weather was still a lot cloudier than I would have liked but it gave me six hours of shooting before it started raining. These two Harriers were doing some kind of mid-air ritual and I shot about a dozen frames of it in burst mode. Unfortunately, the AF setting I had chosen initially for the new camera was not correct and I ended up missing all the shots except for two frames. The other possibility is that I just messed up! 🙂 In any case, this shot was taken at ISO 3200, 1/1250, f5.6, with my 400mm f5.6L prime lens.
