This image was taken May 2, 2014, when I was visiting the Port of Ridgefield (Washington). It was a great place to shoot an Osprey nest situated on a river piling. Unfortunately, the piling was removed the next year. This is a shot of one of the nesting Ospreys in a nearby tree, calling out to its mate.
