Here’s a shot I took on Oct. 18, 2010, at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. I was trying out some new AF settings on the 7D for flight shots–primarily shooting geese, which were there by the thousands. This awesome hawk entered the area and decided to fly right over my vehicle. 1/800, f5.6, 400mm, ISO400, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
