This Red-tailed Hawk allowed cars to drive by it within 8 feet as it perched on the post. I drove about 100 feet past the post and captured the bird as it launched. The light behind the bird is a vehicle coming down the road. Taken at the Ridgefield NWR on January 11, 2019.
