Wilson’s Warbler

The Wilson’s Warbler is a pretty common Spring migrant in the U.S. but I’ve not seen one at the Ridgefield NWR until today (May 2, 2017).  This little bird moved so fast I only got a couple of frames that were anywhere near in focus.  So this isn’t the greatest image but I was excited to capture this bird at the refuge.  I had previously photographed this warbler at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland, OR, many years ago.

Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1250, f4, ISO 2000, 500mm, 2:02 p.m.
