A flashback shot from six years ago today, 6/20/2010, at my niece’s backyard in Oregon City, Oregon–the Black-headed Grosbeak. I hear these birds in the spring and summer at Ridgefield NWR but I haven’t been able to get a decent shot of one in quite a while. Pretty birds with a wonderful song.
