Here’s a shot of a Red-tailed Hawk who appears to be surprised to see me. He’s actually doing a little ‘yawn’ type thing with his beak. Sometimes it’s nice to have 8 fps burst to help capture moments like this. Taken with my Canon 7D, 1/800, f5.6, ISO800, Canon 400mm f5.6L lens.
“Wait, don’t take the shot yet!”

What can I say? A truly unusual shot. 8 fps sure gave you the advantage here and the clarity is wonderful. Great moment.
Thank you Bruce! When I was shooting the frames of this hawk I didn’t have a lot of hope that I’d be using any of the shots from the session due to poor lighting in the woods. I really feel that CEP4 saved this one and helped make it a well-received shot.
