This Black-tailed doe was just off the road heading down the bank. With the flies covering her, she reminds me of myself when I visited the Mt. Hood National Forest a few weeks back, shooting Mountain Bluebirds. My Bug Shirt really saved the day! Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1250, f5.6, ISO 500, 500mm.
To see the flies easier, please see this larger display on my Flickr site.
