Don’t ‘Bug’ Me!

Don’t ‘Bug’ Me!

This Savannah Sparrow was chirping and holding this grasshopper for the longest time, July 14, 2015, at the Ridgefield NWR, giving me all sorts of poses. ┬áThe bug was so big that it covered up the bird’s face in most of the shots! ┬áLots of these birds around the fields of the refuge this time of year.
