“I’m so tired, my tired’s tired!”

“I’m so tired, my tired’s tired!”

I really don’t think this Savannah Sparrow is tired, but he looks exhausted in this image.  I believe he was trying to scratch his neck on the post and he did it very quickly.  These sparrows are sitting atop almost every sign and post along the auto tour this time of year.  Check out the large view for a good look at that tongue!
