Oct. 23, 2015, at the Ridgefield NWR. I was listening to, and watching, some Sandhill Cranes out in (dry) Rest Lake when a group of birds came flying in to join those on the ground. This is a male and female coming in to land. Right next to these two was a youngster, which I’ll try to post a shot of in the future.
