At first it started out as a skirmish in the air between two Northern Harriers. Soon, a Red-tailed Hawk showed up to join the fun. And lastly, this Rough-legged Hawk was in the mix. All the birds were circling and checking out something on the ground. Although the action was quite far away, the Roughie gave me the best photo opportunity. It was fun seeing this not so common species at the Ridgefield NWR, Oct. 23, 2015.
