My previous posted image showed a Red-winged Blackbird harassing a Great Egret. This is the same egret after it decided it wasn’t going to take it anymore and flew off. I took the liberty of enhancing the background a bit in Photoshop to make the bird pop a little more. I like the naturally enhanced green patch between the eye and the bill when egrets are in their breeding plumage. Taken April 23, 2015, at the Ridgefield NWR.
