This image was taken against strong back lighting at the Ridgefield NWR on Jan. 14, 2015.  Details are not so great but I’m posting it to show the cool haircut this Bald Eagle has.  I’ve never seen anything like it.  Maybe his head feathers were wet  and they ended up looking like a comb over. 🙂
