This was my first shot of the day on Jan. 7, 2016, at the Ridgefield NWR. The immature Bald Eagle was perched in a tree about 200 feet off the road. After a short wait, it flew right at me. There was actually a dark overcast and drizzle, hence a setting of ISO 3200. I saw 7 or 8 eagles throughout the day–mostly immature.
