Today, Nov. 13, 2013, at the Ridgefield NWR, this ‘mean-spirited’ Red-tailed Hawk decided to fly right at me from the top of a tree.  Of course, it wasn’t really mean and didn’t fly toward me for long!  I was very happy it did come my direction this time.  Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1000, f4, ISO 1600, 500mm.
