One of a pair of Bald Eagles, ruffling its feathers after preening, atop a tree at the Ridegfield NWR, in Washington State.  It’s great to see the eagles return to the refuge.  Canon 5D Mark III, 1/1250, f7.1, ISO 2000, 700mm.  Taken Nov. 4, 2013.
