These two Turkey Vultures seem to be making conversation, Aug. 4, 2015, at the Ridgefield NWR. One of my favorite eagle perches appears to have been taken over by vultures. There were 3 or 4 on the perch at the time I snapped this but these two were the ones unobstructed by leaves and branches. I saw groups of 8 – 10 vultures soaring over the refuge for quite a while today.
