I took this shot in April 2010, at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge on the auto tour just prior to entering the ash forest area. Shot from my truck using a Canon EOS 40D, 1/200, f6.3, 400mm, ISO400, +1/3EV, using the Canon 100-400mm lens. The animal’s left eye appears cloudy; he may have an eye injury.
